Quality accredition
The company carries accreditation, with AQIS [Australian Quarantine Inspection Service], USFDA [USA] and EU [Europe] and has a documented quality assurance management system in place.
This management system is GMP and HACCP based.
It is used to document and control all aspects relating to food safety such as Hygiene, Handling, Product Testing, Traceability and Product Recall and is audited regularly by AQIS.
All catcher vessels are internally audited for:
Food safety standards, current fishing registration and document control prior to becoming a company approved supplier.
Consumer confidence
All seafood products are sourced from local waters. South Australia's low population, low rainfall and the absence of river systems ensures product integrity & consumer confidence.
Our species are sourced from sustainable managed fisheries.
